NCC-NSS

We are committed to fostering values of leadership, discipline, and social responsibility among our students. Through the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme (NSS), we provide students with unique opportunities to develop their leadership potential, engage in community service, and build a strong sense of national pride.

National Cadet Corps (NCC)

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) program at RIS is designed to instill qualities of discipline, teamwork, and responsibility. Students who participate in NCC undergo training in military drills, physical fitness, and leadership skills, which help them build confidence, resilience, and respect for authority.

The NCC also fosters an appreciation for national unity and patriotism, as cadets are encouraged to serve the nation through various activities such as camps, parades, and social service projects. Whether on the ground or in the classroom, the NCC experience helps students develop essential life skills, preparing them for future leadership roles in their communities and beyond.

National Service Scheme (NSS)

The National Service Scheme (NSS) provides students with the opportunity to engage in community service and contribute positively to society. Through NSS, students participate in a variety of activities such as environmental clean-ups, health and wellness campaigns, literacy programs, and social awareness initiatives.

NSS encourages students to become socially responsible citizens, developing empathy and a sense of duty to give back to the community. Students also gain valuable experience in project management, teamwork, and public speaking while making a tangible impact on the lives of others.

Participation in NCC and NSS not only helps students build character but also enhances their resumes and university applications. The leadership, teamwork, and community engagement skills developed through these programs are highly valued in both academic and professional settings.
